The location of this hotel was ideal for what we needed it for. Access into Old Town was less than 1minute on foot. It wasn't far to walk for the fountains, palace of parliament and other local attractions. For the attractions slightly further away there was convenient and affordable transport accessible. We used the 100 bus from and to the airport, we used stop 'December 21 1989', which was conveniently located 5min walk to/from the hotel and cheap tickets. We then used Uber for a taxi to the Therme Spa which was reasonably priced around £15 for a 30min journey. The local taxi's have been known to stitch people up and being expensive. Our room at the hotel, although not overly big, was find for just the 2 of us. We didn't spend much time there and only needed it for 2 nights. Bed was very comfy. Cleanliness was good. Shower in the bathroom was lovely. And we had a balcony to enjoy during our stay. Staff were friendly and informative. There are free lockers to use for your luggage on the day you leave, once you check out of your room. This was really helpful as our flight wasn't until the evening and we wanted to walk round old town without lugging our bags with us. Although the nightlife in old town runs until the early hours, you weren't bothered by it once you were back in your room. The noise was to a minimum especially once the window was closed. With my partner being a light sleeper, even she wasn't troubled by it.

In general it’s a very nice hotel and usually if you stay here you feel pretty comfortable. The room is nice - big bed and big tv, bathroom is pleasant, shower gels are there, hair wash cosmetics, hair dryer, soft towels. Note: in the small room you don’t have wardrobe (only hangers on the wall) and safe, which is for me important. I don’t know if it is in another rooms. Everything is clean , the facilities are good, the stuff is pleasant. On the reception there’s a lounge zone with a bar, lockers for suitcases, I even saw fitness room. Breakfast is also pretty nice - not very big, but you will have the main breakfast dishes there. The location is just great, you have everything around you - old town and city center, with nice cafes and supermarkets. My stay was as usually good, but this time there were little things annoying, mentioned below.

Lovely stay. We arrived early and were treated to a fabulous welcome by Johar (?) I think his name was - basically the male receptionist who checked us in on 12 March. It started off our trip well. He even helped us book a restaurant one night when we bumped into him in the street which was above and beyond expectations. Hotel is nice and modern and was lovely to relax in when we were in the room, we didn’t spend a lot of time in the room as we wished to explore Romania. If you want to spend more time in your room then a bigger suite would probably suit you.

The downstairs bar area was gorgeous, we had a free welcome drink and the reception staff were very friendly, attentive, had great recommendations and made great drinks. They accommodated our extra requests too. The room itself was decorated really well, the bed was comfortable and it was very quiet given the closeness to the old town and its bars and restaurants. Did not get to try the food but a snack shelf in reception had drinks, crisps, chocolate etc in case of emergencies! :D

The hotel is located very close to the party mile of the Old Town, with pubs, clubs and more. Plenty of attractions are within walking distance. The room was very quiet, despite facing the street, no disturbances or annoyances. Bedding was good, the room of a good size, all clean - no probs whatsoever. Reception was friendly and helpful - what more can I say. Walking past the breakfast buffet, there was a good selection.
